Member Privacy Policy

The CIO Executive Council's peer-to-peer operating model requires that we learn about our member's IT and business expertise, as well as our member's information and advisory needs. We gather this information via one-one-one interviews between Council members and staff, through online polls and assessment tools, and via publicly-available sources. The information that we collect about our members is private and is only accessible to CIO Executive Council staff. It will not be sold or shared with any 3rd party organizations. Council staff references it as guidance for peer-counsel matching, and in offering you speaking opportunities, source opportunities for select CIO Magazine or CIO.COM articles, and invitations to participate in Council content projects. All of these opportunities are intended to leverage your expertise to benefit yourself, other Council members, and the CIO community at large, as well as to provide broader industry exposure for yourself and the Council.
